Variety Show Village Hall 4^th July 2008 The Players were delighted to be able to contribute to the high quality entertainment of the King’s Somborne Variety Show. Vicky Burden, Catherine Cartwright and Chris Hall acted out a hysterical melodrama directed by Audrey Gannaway. Vanessa Sharpe and Lesley Evans gave a poignant (and side-splitting) performance of The Highwayman. With our own multi-talented Alan Glynne Jones also presenting his own juggling act, and many other village groups contributing, the evening was definitely one of variety and great camaraderie as we all enjoyed helping raise money for the refurbishment of the Village Hall.
