of the meeting of 28 June 06 The minutes
were read and approved. 2. Matters
Arising Jo sent an
article to the Gauntlet re AGM with date of Panto startup meeting &
invite to all to attend. Article to go
in Sept Gauntlet with large advert for start-up meeting. Some confusion
over date for Hot Mikado, Melanie to be asked and get back to members re a
date. (PMN 1st September
was given in newsletter and only Sue Jackson has expressed an interest in
attending, this had been going to be the twinning weekend but not now, email
to be sent to members seeing if anyone else is interested). Shakespeare evening
much appreciated. List of dates
of events to be drawn up. 2. Panto. Bill Sutton has
told Jo that he has retired from doing sound (plus is away next
Jan/Feb). A thank you gift to be
purchased and maybe presented at Christmas event. A new sound person will be needed, keen to
have more live music for panto. Advert
to appear in Gauntlet for technician and musicians. Vicky has
agreed to be Director, Sue Holligan to be producer. Vicky is keen to involve children, live
music and songs. Red Riding Hood
script to be looked at by Vicky & others if interested. She will get back to Jo by 21st
Aug with a definite script. Norman Denison
not to be asked to print scripts but copies of script could be printed by a
volunteer on the Gauntlet printer. Startup meeting
Sept 14th. Sue H to liaise
with football club, Bowls, Badminton re Panto week for hall use. Vicky to clear
use of hall with Yoga. 3. Other Events All event data
including committee meetings to go in village diary in Next meeting 29 Aug 7:45pm at Sue
Spurling’s if she is agreeable. |
