1. Minutes of the meeting 5^th December 2007 and matters arising

The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted.

· Costumes – Sarah Litton has been paid and a letter sent confirming the terms of renting her garage space.

Ø Melanie to forward letter to Vanessa

Ø Costumes not yet sorted. There is a panto costume meeting on Friday 11^th January where this will need to be arranged.

Ø Grant application – Vicky needs to find prices, otherwise application is complete. Needs to be with council asap as their next meeting on grants is at the beginning of February.

· Noda subscription has been cancelled.

2. Children’s Production

Booking – The Village Hall has been verbally booked for the performance on Friday 15^th August.

Ø Book hall in writing

Ø Liaise with Andrew, Sarah and Joyce re. lighting set up

Ø Book Scout Hut

Costs – £15 seems insufficient for a week’s summer school and may not cover costs.

Ø Suggested £30-£50 charge – Melanie to check with Pam

Ø Vanessa to look into cost of royalties

Publicity

Ø Vanessa to put advert in February’s Gauntlet

Ø Posters in school

Child protection

Minimum age needs to be 8 years

Adult helpers – need at least 3, preferably 4 people at all times

2 adults must be CRB checked – only they can be alone with children

Vicky and Vanessa have volunteered to help on some days

Ø Request help from adults and participation from children in newsletter

Ø Target adults personally at a later date

Ø Vicky to ask Sarah for next meeting and/or project plan.

3. Panto 2008

Publicity

Ø Poster from Adam Lay needs to be designed, scanned in and emailed to Vanessa by 14^th Jan for publication in February Gauntlet

Ø Vicky to ask Norman about printing tickets and programmes

Ø Melanie to get quotes for glossy colour A3 printing of posters

Ø Vanessa to ask Jo Finch about advertising on radio and in papers

Meetings

Ø workshop meeting – Tuesday 8^th Jan 8pm – Vicky’s

Ø production meeting – Friday 11^th Jan 7pm - Vicky’s

Ø props meeting – Saturday 12^th Jan 10am - Vicky’s

Ø workshop – Thursday 17^th Jan 7.30pm – Village Hall + one other?

Bookings

Ø Vicky to tell Melanie number of rehearsals in Epworth so Melanie can pay (also to pay for improvisation evening booking)
